With variables in quick replies, you can automatically personalize messages with customer or agent details, allowing you to respond faster and more personally.
Variables in quick replies
You can add variables to quick replies to make them instantly personal. This ensures the message automatically adjusts to the recipient (for example, by adding the customer’s or agent’s name).
How to add a variable:
-
Open the quick reply creation or edit screen.
-
In the Message field, click the information icon (ℹ️) to see which variables are available.
-
Click the + symbol next to the variable you want to insert into your quick reply.
Example variables
Variable | What it does | Example output |
---|---|---|
customer_name |
Shows the customer’s name | Hi Anna, |
agent_name |
Shows the name of the responding agent | Regards, Lisa |
company_name |
Shows your company name | Welcome to Saysimple |
ticket_id |
Shows the ticket number | Your ticket: #45892 |
Tip
Use variables to save time while keeping a personal tone. Always check that your quick reply still makes sense after the variable is replaced.
