      Prerequisites for Number Migration

      • You must be able to receive and verify a 6-digit PIN code via SMS or *voice call on your preferred WhatsApp number.
      • The source WhatsApp Business Account must be approved and verified.
      • Two-factor verification must be **disabled for the number.
      • You must have admin access to the Meta Business Suite.

      *Ensure IVRs and other voice solutions are turned off before attempting verification via voice call.

      **This is how you can remove two-step verification:

      1. Go to business.facebook.com.
      2. Log in with your Facebook account.
      3. Click Settings at the bottom of the left sidebar.
      4. Click WhatsApp Accounts and select the WhatsApp account you wish to migrate.
      5. Open WhatsApp Manager (button at the bottom right).
      6. Click on the number you wish to migrate.
      7. Navigate to the Two-step verification tab.
      8. Click Turn off two-step verification and follow the steps in the email you receive.
