During registration, we will register the phone number you provided with META. The WhatsApp registration can be done at any time of the day.
At the time of registration, META will send an automatically generated 6-digit code to the phone number. The code can be sent via SMS or a voice message. You need to share the code with us immediately during registration. Therefore, we plan the registration moment carefully to prevent the 6-digit code from expiring.
Registration via SMS
- We will schedule a registration time together.
- At the time of registration, we will trigger the SMS message from the WhatsApp provider. This SMS contains the 6-digit code.
- You will receive the SMS on the mobile phone number you chose.
- Share the code with us to complete the registration.
Note: Registration via SMS is only possible if you link a mobile number to the WhatsApp Business API.
Registration via Voice Message
- We will schedule a registration time together.
- At the time of registration, we will trigger the phone call from the WhatsApp provider. You will receive a call from a +44 number.
- You will hear a robot on the phone that will provide the 6-digit code in English. Don’t worry, the code will be clearly repeated several times.
- Once you have received and noted the code, you can end the call.
- Share the code with us to complete the registration.
What to Consider for Registration
- IVR Systems: In some cases, businesses have an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system installed. For registration via voice message, the IVR system must be temporarily disabled.
- Availability: It is important that the (mobile) phone number used for registration is available to you or a colleague. If the number is routed to another employee, department, or location, ensure they are informed and that you can receive the code from them. Sometimes, it is also possible to temporarily forward the phone number. Contact your company's IT team for assistance.
