Next to regular text message templates, WhatsApp also offers 'Media message Templates'. These templates can contain media in combination with Quick Reply- or Call to Action (CTA) buttons.
Media message templates expand the content you can send recipients beyond the standard text message template type to include media and buttons. A Media message Template can contain the following media type headers:
- Video (only .MP4)
- Image (.PNG or .JPEG)
- File (.PDF)
Following the media type headers, the template body has to be submitted (max 1024 characters) containing the (if applicable) variables as well.
Following the template body, the template can contain maximum two CTA buttons or maximum three Quick Reply buttons.
When sending a Media Template via Saysimple, the media has to be attached separately to the message once the correct WhatsApp Media template has been selected:
It's also possible to 'fix' an attachment to a media template via the template manager.
